A graduate of the Rubin Academy for Music in Jerusalem where he continued his music education at UCLA. Lior was accorded full scholarship
into the Henry Mancini Institute where he studied the art of film music with Hollywood's iconic composers.
Lior’s started his professional career composing several seasons of the wildly popular children's network television series "Power Rangers" and "Digimon" for Fox TV and original music for "The Grammy Awards,theme music for "Celebrity Justice" and the scores for several action-packed
television movies including “Freefall,” “Rocket’s Red Glare,” and “Deep Rescue.”
In 2004, Lior started a collaborative relationship with Composer/Film Editor John Ottman. Lior has since been credited for providing additional
score/music arrangements/orchestrations for several major Hollywood films, including: “Cellular”, “Hide & Seek”, “Superman Returns”,
“Fantastic 4: The Rise of the Silver Surfer” and “The Invasion”. In 2009, Lior composed the credits theme song for the movie “Valkyrie”
(United Artist) and was nominated for ‘Best composition of the year’ by the International Film music critics association.
Lior’s scoring expertise combined with his panache for powerful melodic and atmospheric rhythmic structures, attracted the interest of the
video gaming community who commissioned his cinematic orchestral music for Video game franchises such as also Sony’s “Syphon Filter:Dark
Mirror” and "SOCOM:FTB3" creating a cool, new fan base following.
In 2010 Lior's projects include Music for the feature film "Cirque Du Freak" and "The Losers." His most recent projects include the score for a
Joel Silver television Pilot entitled, "The Odds" and the score for “Seconds Apart” a feature to be released in 2011 starring Orlando Jones.
